About Us

We moved to Abu Dhabi in 2019 and have been ticking things off our UAE bucket list ever since we arrived!

 

Before moving to the UAE though, some of our most memorable bucket list experiences around the world include:

• Visiting the Robot Restaurant in Tokyo, Japan

• Swimming with sharks of the coast of Hawaii

• Seeing a live show at Le Moulin Rouge in Paris, France

• Driving a go-kart around the streets of Tokyo, Japan

• Learning how to surf on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii

• Doing the Skyjump experience at Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand

• Sitting On The Edge of KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia

• Visiting Jim Thompson’s House Museum in Bangkok, Thailand

• Skydiving above the picturesque Byron Bay coastline in Australia

• Doing a pottery class at the F.Widayanto Gallery in Jakarta, Indonesia

• Completing the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb in Sydney, Australia

• Learning glass-blowing techniques at a Murano Glass factory in Italy

• Dining in a gothic building (The Witchery Restaurant) in Edinburgh

• Learning how to make French croissants from PAUL Bakery in Malaysia

• Experiencing a Dining In The Dark restaurant experience in Singapore

 

So as you can see, we LOVE ticking things off our ever-expanding bucket list as often as we can!

 

For years, we’ve been asked by our family, friends and co-workers to recommend places to visit, unique things to see and our favourite dining recommendations around the world.

 

So soon after moving to the UAE and the birth of Thomas, we came up with the idea to start our very own family-friendly bucket list blog.

 

Since we’ve launched our blog, we’ve had so much fun sharing all of our unique experiences
