Dubai | Museum of The Future

Museum Of The Future is an iconic new building on Dubai’s skyline.

On their website it states it is ‘Where The Future Lives’ and it ‘welcomes people of all ages to see, touch, and shape our shared future. Go on a journey through possible futures and bring hope and knowledge back to the present.’

This is certainly no ordinary museum and is now one of the most bucket-list worthy places to visit in Dubai!

How To Book & Enter The Museum

Tickets can be made on their website directly and cost AED145 per person (Adults and children 3 years and older). Children under 3 years old and People of Determination have free entry.

You can also buy tickets in person on the day, using their ticket machines, but we highly recommend booking your tickets online well ahead of your booking date instead, as tickets weeks or months in advance can sell-out regularly.

You can also buy tickets in person on the day, using the ticket machines on the Ground Floor of Museum Of The Future, but we would highly recommend buying your tickets online instead (well head of of your booking date).

Once you arrive at Museum Of The Future, you will need to head straight to the front desk counter to scan your ticket (either printed out or received through email).

You will then be given a disposable wrist band to wear throughout your visit.

Once you’ve received your wristband, you’ll need to head to the back of the designated queue to wait for your turn to enter via the electronic gates.

Please note that here is a separate entrance and queue for school groups.

You are also allowed to bring wheelchairs and prams into Museum Of The Future, as there are lifts available throughout this museum.

When To Go

Museum Of The Future is open 10am – 6pm daily and last entry is at 5pm.

How To Get There

This museum is located directly adjacent to Jumeriah Emirates Tower in Dubai.

Tips For Your Visit

Best to book the session times in the morning at Museum Of The Future, as this museum attracts a large number of visitors, especially from lunchtime onwards.

There are toilets available inside the entrance of Museum Of The Future and there is also a family bathroom and Prayer room available.

Pop City sell their ice-cream at the entrance of this Museum too.

Should you want to sit down at a café, there is one futuristic café with chairs & tables on the other side of the front desk counter. They serve a range of snacks and light meals, along with coffee served by robots!

At this cafe, there is also a nice view outside Museum Of The Future!

There are two shops at Museum Of The Future. One is located at the Children’s 'Future Heroes' area inside the actual museum, where they sell lots of great Children’s stationery and books.

The other shop is located once you exit Museum Of The Future and sells a lot more things for adults.

There is also a great baby/toddler’s play area within Museum Of The Future, where one adult needs to enter and accompany each baby or toddler into this space.

A handy stroller parking area is also available outside this baby/toddler play area.

What To Expect

We don’t want to spoil any of the incredible experiences that await you inside Museum Of The Future, as we really feel that you need to see it for yourselves!

The building itself is an architectural marvel and there are interesting places to take some impressive photos of both the interior and exterior of this building.

You could easily spend a few hours or even half a day at Museum Of The Future, so make sure you factor that into your plans for the rest of the day.

We also hope that the weather is clearer the day that you visit, as there was very poor visibility outside when we went to Museum Of The Future.
