How To Book
‘Tempting Tea Time’ is offered to guests when you book into one of Anantara’s 3 resorts on Sir Bani Yas Island; Desert Islands Resort, Al Sahel Resort or Al Yamm Resort.
Tempting Tea Time bookings are available between 3:00pm – 6:00pm.

When To Go
Anantara’s resorts on Sir Bani Yas Island are only open during the cooler months in the UAE, so best to contact the resort for opening dates in advance.
Costs Involved
Adults: AED299 per person
Children (6-11 years old): AED149 per person
Children (under 5 years): Free
How To Get There
Sir Bani Yas Island is 250km away from Abu Dhabi and is approximately a 3 hours’ drive from downtown Abu Dhabi.
Dubai is 350km away and is approximately a 4 hours’ drive, depending upon where you are leaving from in Dubai.
Once you reach Jebel Dhanna Jetty on the mainland, you will be transferred by Anantara’s complimentary boat service to the island, which takes approximately 20 minutes.
Their boat service operates 4-5 times daily and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance through Anantara Sir Bani Island Resorts.

Best to book prior to your arrival on Sir Bani Yas Island, as this unique combined dining and animal experience is really popular on this island.
What To Expect
If you are not staying at the Al Sahel Villa Resort, you will be driven to and from this resort in one of Anantara’s 4WDs.
Once you arrive at Al Sahel Villa Resort, you'll walk through their main entrance to one of their outside areas.
The friendly staff at this resort will then escort you to your private afternoon tea area outside amongst nature, where there is a dedicated path leading to your afternoon tea area.
All of the food will be set up in advance, so best to let the hotel know if you have any dietary requirements in advance.
A range of freshly squeezed juices and fresh cut fruit will be on display outside.
Along with soft drinks, sparkling water and still water.
The only drinks that you'll need to order through your dedicated Waiter are hot beverages. They do provide a range of tea bags, cold milk, sugar and toothpicks outside on a table before you arrive, which you can use throughout your afternoon tea.
Food wise, the salmon canapes were absolutely delicious!
Throughout your afternoon tea, you will see a range of animals walking past or around your outside dining area.
We spotted several Gazelles, lots of Peacocks and a range of smaller local birds.
Tom also found two eggs laid and semi-hidden by a bird.
What's Unique
We couldn't seem to find another afternoon tea experience with guests surrounded by wild animals of this nature in the UAE, making this one memorable and very unique bucket list experience!
The Verdict
This unique afternoon tea experience is great fun for the whole family!
We loved spotting so many wild animals!
Luckily for us, the restaurant provided a plastic cover for our food, otherwise the birds would have ate all of our food throughout our dining experience!
This was certainly a really special afternoon tea experience for us as a family.
One that we will never forget!
