The Founder’s Memorial in Abu Dhabi aims ‘to be a place of reflection, celebration and gathering that instils pride in the UAE community and enables international visitors to learn more about the Founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed.’
On this expansive site is not only the Founder’s Memorial, but you can also see The Constellation (a monumental public artwork), Sanctuary Garden, Heritage Garden and an Elevated Walkway around The Constellation artwork.
How To Book
Visitors are required to obtain their online access pass prior to arriving via this online link.

Costs Involved
The Welcome Centre at The Founder’s Memorial is free for the public and is open between 9am – 10pm daily.

Located in Abu Dhabi, The Founder’s Memorial is at the corner of Corniche Road and 18th Street (along the Abu Dhabi Corniche)
Tips For Your Visit
Free visitor parking is available onsite and accessible from 18th Street.
You can also access The Founder’s Memorial by walking from the Corniche.
Children of all ages are welcome to visit The Founder’s Memorial and the entire site is wheelchair and pram friendly.
Outside food cannot be brought into The Founder’s Memorial and visitors are requested to dress modestly.

What To Expect
The great thing about this attraction is you can start your visit wherever you’d like – inside The Founder’s Memorial Welcome Centre, walk around the outside gardens or even visit The Constellation first.
Whilst you’re walking around the Elevated Walkway, you’ll be able to see some great views of Emirates Palace.
Even from the back of The Constellation you can admire the stunning architecture!
