When To Go
One of the best things about this hotel, is that the indoor Warner Bros theme park is right next door, making it suitable to stay and visit this theme park all-year round, regardless of the weather in the UAE.

Tips For Your Visit
You and our family are entitled to 1 free theme park ticket each per night of your stay (general admission tickets).
There are 3 theme parks included in this hotel promotion, so if you want to visit all 3 theme parks for free, you’ll need to stay a minimum of 3 nights.
The theme parks included are:
Yas Water World is slightly further away than Warner Bros World, but it is also within walking distance. However, there is a free shuttle bus available should you wish to visit Yas Water World or Ferrari World during your stay.
This is not a huge hotel, so when the hotel is fully booked, all of the hotel’s restaurants and swimming pools are at full capacity with hotel guests.
Therefore, we’d recommend visiting all their restaurants as early as possible, to avoid having to wait in a queue for a table.
Our favourite food at the hotel was at The Overlook, where we enjoyed some yummy Japanese sushi & sashimi.
Oh and their twice-cooked thick fries were also tasty too!
Whilst this restaurant and bar area is located in an adults-only area, children can dine at The Overlook daily until 8pm.
If we had to comment on any areas of improvement for the hotel, we would have liked to have been given free ‘The Flash Pass’ tickets for our family to use, as the queues for rides on the weekend we visited Warner Bros World were very long.
Regardless if you are staying at this hotel or not, if you’re visiting Warner Bros World on weekends, we’d highly recommend purchasing ‘The Flash Pass’ for each guest, which will cost AED150 per person and give you priority access onto every ride.
On another note, hotel guests aren’t informed of any ride closures at Warner Bros World or the other 2 theme parks on Yas Island when they check into the hotel, so that would have been great to know this before we chose which theme park/s to visit during our stay.
If you join up as a free Hilton Honors Member before your stay, you’ll be entitled to 10% off all food & beverage at this Warner Bros hotel and also the food & beverage at the neighbouring DoubleTree by Hilton hotel during your stay.
There is an interconnecting indoor walkway between The WB Abu Dhabi and DoubleTree hotels.
The cafe at The WB Abu Dhabi called Craft Services doesn’t have as much variety as the DoubleTree’s Taste & Time café and there is no kids menu at Craft Services.
Craft Services is more of a takeaway café for coffee and cake or to sit and enjoy in the lobby of The WB Abu Dhabi.
Taste & Time has an extensive kids menu and is more of a sit-down café (with both inside and outside dining available).
Their Indian Butter Chicken dish was absolutely delicious!
DoubleTree guests are also entitled to 1 free theme park ticket each per night of your stay (general admission tickets).
Back at The WB Abu Dhabi, there is also an official Warner Bros merchandise shop next to their Craft Services cafe, with this store opening from 11am daily.
There are 3 swimming pools at The WB Abu Dhabi and 2 of these swimming pools are only for adults to access.
The swimming pool for everyone to enjoy, is fantastic for families with children of all ages.
There is a separate shallow water splash play pool for younger children and babies right underneath the outdoor movie projector screen.
There are not many shady areas either in the pool or by the sun lounges, but they do have umbrellas available next to each set of sun lounges, which does help provide some shade, depending upon the time of the day.
There is also a great kids club, which is only available for children 4 – 14 years old to access.
The Kids Club has a lot of indoor toys and activities for your children to enjoy.
There is an outdoor playground as part of the Kids Club, but there isn’t as many activities for kids to do outside.
Breakfast for all guests at Sidekicks is included in your room rate and there is also free hotel wi-fi available throughout your stay for multiple devices per room.
The breakfast buffet is self-serve (even for drinks), so staff will only be there to help guide you to an available table and clear your tables of any leftover food and drinks.
What To Expect
Even before you walk inside The WB Abu Dhabi, you’ll see a number of Warner Bros-themed attractions including the Friends themed fountain and sofa.
There’s a great photo opportunity in front of the Batman’s Batmobile parked outside the front entrance of the hotel.
And don’t forget to spot the luggage trolley carrying suitcases from famous Warner Bros characters such as Wonder Woman, Fred Flintstone and Scooby Doo.
Keep a look out for the Warner Bros themed characters, as they walk around the Ground floor and Level 1 of the hotel every day at regular intervals.
Thomas absolutely loved meeting Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and we were told that Tom & Jerry also make an appearance daily.
We stayed inside the King Artist Room type and the room was modern and very colourful.
Thomas loved playing with the bright red phone beside our bed!
Even our SMEG fridge was bright red!
Our bathroom was small, but really well appointed.
And there was a sweet welcome note left for us in our room, which was a nice touch!
The Verdict
This is a really fun hotel or staycation to visit for families with children.
One of our favourite areas of The WB Abu Dhabi, was the main pool area with the outdoor dive-in theatre, as the 3 of us really enjoyed watching Tom and Jerry and having some quality time together as a family!
We also loved trying to spot all of the Warner Bros themed decor throughout the hotel.
It’s great that Warner Bros World is right next door to the hotel, so you only have to walk a short distance outside to access this indoor theme park.
Having all 3 theme parks on the same island as this hotel, is such a great convenience for families.
We enjoyed how there were lots of colourful digital screens throughout the hotel to keep us entertained during our stay.
Finally, keep a look out for the original Warner Bros memorabilia too!
