Husaak Adventures offers Traditional Boat Cruises around Eastern Mangrove National Park in Abu Dhabi.
Exploring around the natural mangroves by boat, you'll get the chance to spot birds resting or flying above the skies and also see fish in the water near the mangrove roots.
This is a unique boat ride where you can enjoy travelling in a traditional brown wooden boat.

You can book this Traditional Boat Cruise online (up to 6 hours before your desired booking date and time) via Husaak Adventures website here.

Available daily between 6:30am - 5:30pm.
Costs Involved
1 hour Traditional Boat Cruise rental is AED420 per boat and 2 hours Traditional Boat Cruise rental is AED840 per boat.
Maximum of 10 people per boat cruise.
Private boat hire and captain is included in your booking.
There is no age restrictions for this boat cruise and anyone wanting to wear a life vest is able to hire one for free.
How To Get There
Best to park or get dropped off at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel and walk along to the right of the promenade at Eastern Mangroves to Husaak Adventures outdoor stand.
There should be someone there to confirm your booking in person, before you head down the boat ramp for your Traditional Boat Cruise.
Best to bring along either a printed or online confirmation of your booking to show Husaak staff.
There is also a handy map of the Eastern Mangrove National Park near the Husaak Adventures boat ramp.
Tips For Your Visit
You are allowed to bring along your own food and drinks, however Husaak Adventures can also arrange for snacks, breakfast, lunch or dinner at an additional cost.
Aside from food & drinks, Husaak Adventures can provide a Bluetooth speaker on your boat upon request.
There is also a changing tent and public toilet available to use, either before or after your Traditional Boat Cruise.
What To Expect
We liked how you can choose your own time of the day for your booking, as this is a private boat cruise.
Sunrise and sunset are particularly beautiful around the Eastern Mangroves National Park.
Each traditional wooden boat is fitted with 2 boat engines and has a sunshade canopy above the entire perimeter of the boat.
This sunshade canopy provided adequate shade for us during our 1 hour boat cruise.
It's good to keep in mind that you might need to move to different cushions on your boat throughout your cruise, as the direction of the sun during your booking will provide you with either more or less sun exposure.
The Verdict
This is a great opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the unique biodiversity around Eastern Mangrove National Park.
You can also see parts of Abu Dhabi's skyline in the distance, which is a great reminder that you are on the water surrounded by nature!
