The World of Banksy is an immersive exhibition on at THE THEATRE at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.
Banksy is rumoured to be a British graffiti street artist, but no one knows his exact identity.
His street art can be seen on public walls across major cities around the world including in London, Jerusalem, Mali, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Melbourne and Toronto.
See over 120 reproduction art pieces spread throughout a 1,000sqm gallery space at Mall of the Emirates.
Some of his most famous street art reproductions will be on display, including ‘Girl with Balloon’.
The original ‘Girl with Balloon’ was auctioned in 2018 at Sotheby’s in London, where guests were left stunned after this piece was suddenly shredded immediately after being sold to the highest bidder for one million pounds!
How To Book
Once you are on the Mall of the Emirates website, you can purchase tickets through Platinumlist.
When To Go
The World of Banksy has been extended in Dubai until the 31st December 2021.
This exhibition is open between 10am – 10pm, 7 days per week.

Adults: AED75 per person
Children (up to 12 years): AED45 per person
Children (under 3 years): Free
How To Get There
For detailed instructions on how to get to Mall of the Emirates you can view their ‘Getting Here’ section on their website.
Once you reach Mall of the Emirates, best to park your car on level A4 or A6.
Entry to THE THEATRE is near Michael Kors on the 2nd floor of Mall of the Emirates.
Once you see this table and chairs, turn around and you’ll be in front of the main entrance of this Banksy exhibition.
Tips For Your Visit
If you want to avoid crowds at this exhibition, best to arrive close to their 10am opening time.
This exhibition is suitable for children of all ages to attend.
This exhibition is also split over 2 levels and there is a staircase and lift available to access the 2nd floor.
What To Expect
Expect a combination of small, large and sometimes intertwining exhibition rooms.
Look out for Banksy’s artwork under the working fire hydrant.
Or in one of the hallways whilst walking to another exhibition room.
There is also a video and art display of Banksy’s new art hotel called The Walled Off Hotel, which was built in Jerusalem in 2017.
It took us approximately 1.5 hours to see everything at this exhibition, but we took our time reading each of the artwork’s descriptions.
What's Unique
Not only is this the largest Banksy exhibition in the world, but it is also the first time a Banksy exhibition has been displayed in the UAE.
The Verdict
It was great to see so many reproductions of Banksy’s famous street art in the one exhibition.
We’ve only ever seen much smaller exhibitions of his work in other countries, so we were impressed with the size of this exhibition.
It was funny to read Banksy's political tongue in cheek messages, so we certainly had a lot of laughs walking around this exhibition.
We also loved how his artwork could be found in random places throughout the exhibition, such as under the light switches!
The World of Banksy Exhibition is definitely worth a visit with the whole family!
