THE Smash Room operates the only 3 Smash Rooms in the UAE; 2 are in Dubai and the third is a temporary one at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, which is on between the 23rd September until the 29th October 2021.

We’re so happy that the UAE has their very own Smash Rooms!

Once you arrive outside at Manarat Al Saadiyat, you can stop for a coffee at Arabica’s Food Truck.

How To Get There

View Manarat Al Saadiyat’s ‘How To Get To Us’ section on their website for a map and the best ways to travel to The Smash Room in Abu Dhabi.

Tips For Your Visit

On the day, once you’ve signed their online waiver using a QR Code provided at The Smash Room’s reception, you’ll be directed to the safety equipment area to be fitted with your very own personal protective equipment (PPE).

This includes a disposable suit, disposable gloves underneath thicker safety gloves, a helmet with a face shield attached and a safety vest covering your chest and back.

You can wear your own closed shoes such as sneakers, trainers or running shoes, but you can also rent their safety boots on the day. Comfortable clothing is a must underneath all of your safety equipment.

Children over the age of 5 years are allowed to book a ticket for The Smash Room and any child under the age of 18 years old, must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Children will need to bring their own shoes, as The Smash Room doesn’t supply safety boots for children.

What To Expect

Depending upon which package you’ve signed up for, The Smash Room will let you know on the day, how long you have in your dedicated room to smash your objects.

At the start of your session, a staff member will come into your Smash Room and provide you with a short safety briefing. This will include the best way to hold each tool, how you should stand and what useful things you should know.

You can yell, stomp, sing, cry, laugh, dance…whatever you want to do, as you smash, break and shatter all of the objects that you’ve paid for.

They also play some great background music to help inspire you!

There are 4 separate smash rooms available at The Smash Room inside Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Before your session starts you can choose up to 2 tools to take into your Smash Room.

The first tool that we chose was the bat, which we were told is best to smash glass.

We also chose the axe, which we were told is best to break the electronics.

However, halfway through breaking one of our computers, we swapped our axe for the sledge-hammer, which caused more damage to the computers!

Your friends and family can take photos and videos of you from outside your Smash Room, as The Smash Room doesn’t offer any professional photo or video packages.

Or you could just take your own Selfies inside your Smash Room!

What's Unique

The Smash Room operates the only 3 Smash Rooms in the UAE.

The Verdict

Not only was this so much fun, but it was a full body work-out too! It’s a lot harder to smash objects than you think! This was a great way to release some stress and blow off some steam!

The end result? Heart pumping fun surrounded by unrecognisable computers and shattered glass everywhere at your feet!

Sounds like fun? Don’t just take our word for it, experience it for yourself.

Be inspired to start or add to your very own bucket lists.
